The national participation organized by UTIB showed its difference in Shanghai another time around.
Turkish companies going to "Intertextile Shanghai Home Textile 2013" for which national participation was organized by Uludag Exporters' Union (UTIB) returned home after having made business contacts with Far Eastern companies.
In the words of the President of UTIB Ibrahim Burkay "Shanghai fair is a prestigious door opening to the region and every year our entering through this door is anticipated with higher interest"
The "Intertextile Shanghai Home Textile 2013" fair for which national participation was organized by Uludag Textile Exporters' Union (UTIB) which is important for Turkish home textile companies who want to increase their market share in the Far East came to an end. Turkish companies exhibited their products in Hall 1, which is the most prestigious hall from among 12 others occupied by the fair that was attended by 1.321 companies from a total of 31 countries. 43 Turkish companies that exhibited their products in the fair as national participants under the coordination of UTIP made many new business contacts and the information desk serviced by UTIP during the fair attracted many companies and visitors.
In his evaluation of Shanghai fair the President of UTIP Mr. Ibrahim Burkay said that they received positive feedback from companies. Burkay pointed out that the purchasing power of families in China grew every year. "Shanghai fair is a prestigious door opening not only to China but to the whole region. Every year our entering through this door is anticipated with higher interest", he added. Mr. Burkay also stated that with the new business deals in China exports would increase significantly because China was a very big market.
Mr. Burkay said that they were hearing about new business deals struck by companies that participated in the fair. "This year we have observed a higher rate of participation by Far East countries neighboring China relative to the previous year. This development is quite positive for our market diversification policy. We want to be present at every market with our products and get maximum yield from all markets we penetrate." he added.
